Project overview
Rehabilitation works on the Tartu-Tabivere section of the Tartu-Jogeva-Aravete road began in 2006, with a construction value of nearly EUR 8 million.
The road, built to Class III standards, passes through Tartu and Jogeva counties. The rehabilitation works included reconstruction of 18.2 km of state road, construction of 10.3 km of pedestrian and bicycle paths, installation of street lighting, and a pedestrian tunnel in Lahte. Reclaimed material from milling the old pavement was used to build dust-free surfacing on a total of 40 km of state gravel roads.
